Program Overview:  Pregnancy is a blessing… let’s embrace the experience.

Preparedness for physical and emotional changes is an essential part of a healthy pregnancy.  Our Certified Female Trainers will collaborate with your physician/OBGYN in designing a custom fitness routine that encompasses core pregnancy principles to safely transition to the Joy of motherhood.

Program Components:

1. Initial Registration:

  • Duration: 20 minutes
  • During registration, expecting mothers will complete a medical history questionnaire.
  • The Fitness Director will send a copy of the questionnaire and a medical clearance form to the provided OBGYN.  Once the medical clearance form is completed and returned, the Fitness Director will reach out to the expecting mother to schedule the first Consultation.

2. Three, Three Month Training Program Specialized for Each Trimester:

  • Duration: 30 minutes each
  • Spread across 33 sessions for each trimester (ideally 3 sessions per week), these workouts target various aspects of fitness to prepare the expecting mother for the physical demands of the birthing process and beyond.
  • Cardiovascular exercises are included to improve cardiovascular fitness and endurance.
  • Strength training exercises, using body weight and/or light weights, help enhance muscular strength.
  • Flexibility and mobility are addressed through guided stretching routines.
  • All exercises and mobility tasks are provided to the OBGYN for each trimester.

3. Progress Tracking:

  • Regular progress tracking, including fitness assessments, measurements, and self-assessment, helps participants see tangible results.
  • The program fosters a sense of achievement and motivation as participants witness their improvements.
