Swim Lessons
Swim Starters (Stages A-B) (6 Months – 3 Year Old)
Students will be accompanied by a parent, infants and toddlers learn to be comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills through fun and confidence- building experiences, while parents learn about water safety, drowning prevention, and the importance of supervision. Ages 6 Months – 3 Years old are PARENT/CHILD lessons. Parents are required to be in the water.
Swim Basics (Stages 1-3)
Students learn personal water safety and achieve basic swimming competency by learning two benchmark skills:
* Swim, float, swim – sequencing front glide, roll, back float, and exit.
* Jump, push, turn, grab
Swim Strokes (Stages 4-6)
Having mastered the fundamentals, students learn additional water safety skills and build stroke technique, developing skills that prevent chronic disease, increase social-emotional and cognitive well-being, and foster a lifetime of physical activity.
Each class is 30 minutes.
USelect Swimming
USelect Swimming pairs participants with specific time availability. Have a unique schedule that you control. Book your lessons all at once or individually at your own pace anytime instructors are available!
USelect Swimming lessons were developed with you, your schedule, and instructor preference in mind. Upon successful registration, credits are assigned to your account. You may use your credits at any time to schedule your lessons with an instructor you choose! USelect credits may be rescheduled if notice is given at least 48 hours in advance. Reschedule requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice can not be accommodated.
All USelect Swimming lessons must be scheduled by the swimmer or swimmer’s guardian.
