Gymnastics Special Events

Our 14,000 square foot Air-conditioned facility includes a full viewing spectator area and is fully equipped for children of all ability levels.
The YMCA offers a variety of special events including: Friday Frolic, Kids Night Out, Parties, Field Trips, Summer and Holiday Camps.
Friday Frolic – ages 5 and below – Drop-In open play time with parent and child. Obstacle course, pit, trampoline and open play. Most Fridays from 10:30-12:00. Member $6, Non Member $8 (under 12 months FREE) Must Pre-register online! Available dates are listed on the website.
Kids Night Out – ages 5-14 – Supervised Open Gym time including Obstacle course, gymnastics, activities and games. Pizza included! Held on select Fridays each month from 6:45-9:30 p.m. Member – $15, Non member $20. Must pre-register online! Please bring a labeled drink or thermos. Available dates to be held are the dates you see online.
Parties – ages 3-12 – Parties are booked through the gymnastics facility only! Each 1.75 hour party is private with two party hosts who do ALL the work! Invitations, all paper, products and tablecloths provided.
Field Trips – Ages 3-12 – Booked through the Gymnastics facility only! Each 1.5 hour Filed trip includes gymnastics, pit, trampoline, obstacle course, games, music

I understand that this is not a licensed child care facility and I also understand this program is not required to be licensed by The Ga Dept of Early Care & Learning and is exempt from state licensure requirements
Camp (summer) 4 day
Join us for four days of gymnastics fun! Camps are a great introduction to the world of gymnastics for first time participants and for gymnast of all levels. Athletes are split by age and level into small groups 6:1. Athletes will rotate to each event and focus on skills and drills using our progressive skill chart system based on the USA Gymnastics guidelines. Snack time and game time is also included during camp. Skill chart copies handed out on the last day of camp.
Pre-school – ages 3-4 – (Co-ed) Experience gymnastics through obstacle course activities on floor, uneven parallel bars, balance beams, trampoline and pit.
Girls Level 1 – ages 5 – 15 – Learn the basics of gymnastics on Vault, bars, beam and floor, trampoline and pit.
Boys – ages 5 – 12 – Learn the basics of gymnastics on Vault, p-bars, high bar, mushroom, pommel horse, rings, floor, trampoline and pit.
Girls Level 2 – 4: ages 5 – 15: MUST have prior approval to register at these levels using the current Valdosta YMCA Gymnastics Skill chart system.

- Dress Code for girls is leotard without a skirt or ruffle attached.
- Shorts permitted (no buttons or zippers)
- Hair must be pulled up off shoulders and no dangling jewelry
- Boys – t shirt tucked in and shorts without buttons or zippers
- All participants must provide a labeled bag/back pack with snack and a water bottle/thermos and sanitizer.

Friday Frolic (pre-register online)
Frolic Days are held on most Fridays and are a fun and relaxed environment for children ages 0-5 and their parents. Drop-in Open play time with gymnastic circuits, pit play, trampolines, and much more. Available dates on listed on the website.

Kids Night Out (pre-register online)
This event is held on select Fridays of each month from 6:45 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. for kids ages 5 to 14. Its a fun-filled session of activities, games, obstacle course, pizza and GYMNASTICS!
